Every year State Farm® uses its extensive claims data to implement its motorcycle insurance ratings for specific makes and models. These motorcycle ratings are for most 2014-2021 makes and models. Select a make and model from the list above to see the comprehensive coverage rating, the collision coverage rating, and the bodily injury/property damage liability rating group. With this tool, you’ll be able to see how a specific make, model and type of motorcycle will affect costs.
Remember that motorcycle safety ratings and other factors can affect your premiums. That’s why we’ve made it simple to find out how your bike ranks in insurance costs compared to others with our Motorcycle Ratings Tool.
Motorcycle Rating Groups represent engine size and the amount you can save on insurance compared to all motorcycles. Ratings are based on annual State Farm® data. Simply select your make, model and type to see ratings for:
- Comprehensive Coverage Rating Group – The cost of comprehensive insurance.
- Collision Coverage Rating Group – The cost of collision insurance.
- Bodily Injury/Property Damage Liability Rating Group – The cost of liability insurance.
After you’ve selected a motorcycle, when the rating chart displays you may hover over a bar and the rating for that group will appear. An “A” means you’ll save the most, while an “E” means you’ll probably pay more for that premium.
A – Most savings
B – High savings
C – Moderate saving
D – Low savings
E – Least savings
These vehicle ratings do not apply in Massachusetts, North Carolina and Canada.
