Good Neighbor Grant® program
State Farm Companies Foundation encourages State Farm® associates to be good neighbors by giving back to the communities where they live. One option is by participating in the Good Neighbor Grant Individual and Team programs.
Retirees must submit the Good Neighbor Grant request online by January 31 of the following year in which services were volunteered. Paper forms are no longer accepted.
Good Neighbor Grant program changes
Effective January 1, 2023, retired employees and retired agents will no longer be eligible for the Good Neighbor Grant Individual or Team programs. We will continue to accept requests for volunteer hours completed in 2022 until January 31, 2023. Volunteer hours completed in 2023 or later will no longer be eligible.
Good Neighbor Grant Individual program
Through the Good Neighbor Grant Individual program, the State Farm Companies Foundation awards a $500 grant on behalf of each eligible State Farm employee, agent, or retiree who volunteers a minimum of 40 hours per calendar year to an eligible nonprofit organization.
Good Neighbor Grant Team program
Through the Good Neighbor Grant Team program, State Farm employees, agents, and retirees may volunteer as a team for an eligible nonprofit organization. Once the team accrues a minimum of 40 hours in a calendar year, state Farm Companies Foundation will award a $500 grant to that nonprofit organization on behalf of that team.
