Health/safety protocols

State Farm Park visitors should self-screen for symptoms prior to entering the Park premises.
Park visitors should not enter the Park premises if:
- Not feeling well or experiencing COVID-19 symptoms
- Do not enter Park until at least 5 days since symptom onset and then enter only if symptoms resolved prior to entry, including no fever for 24 hours.
- Tested positive for COVID-19
- Do not enter Park until at least 5 days since symptom onset (or if no symptoms then date of test) and then enter only if symptoms resolved, including no fever for 24 hours.
- Had an exposure to COVID-19
- No entry until 5 days after last exposure and symptom free, including no fever for 24 hours.
- Have COVID-19 tests pending due to exposure or symptoms
Face coverings are recommended but optional for all Park visitors unless any of the following apply (and in these situations, face coverings are required):
- Tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 10 days
- Had an exposure to someone positive in past 10 days
- Had COVID symptoms in past 10 days
Social distancing is recommended but optional for all Park visitors

Welcome! In order to make sure you are selecting the correct State Farm Park card application please click on the below option that is applicable to you.
State Farm corporate employee
State Farm corporate employees employed within 60 miles of Corporate Headquarters badges act as a park card and are required for park entry. Employees who are unsure if their badge has access to State Farm Park should work with their leadership to ensure proper accesses.
If you are a corporate employee who does not live within 60 miles of Corporate Headquarters but would like to visit State Farm Park during an upcoming visit to Bloomington please review the following eligibility guidelines, click on the hyper link (titled State Farm Park Temporary Pass Application) and input needed information. This application is not for a State Farm Park card.

- Dependents living in your immediate household to which you are a legal guardian. Proof of legal guardianship may be requested.

- Anyone who does not meet the above eligibility requirements will not be issued a temporary pass.

Employees are required to bring proximity badge for admittance to the park.
Everyone (age 16 and over) must also provide an original physical valid government or school photo ID (issued by the school) in addition to their State Farm Park Card before being admitted to the park.
Spouses and dependents of an out of state State Farm Employee must be accompanied by the out of state employee during their time at State Farm Park.
Temporary passes do not allow for additional guests.

State Farm retiree
This form is intended for State Farm Retirees to request State Farm Park Cards and must be submitted by the State Farm Retiree. Retiree Park cards are only valid through the calendar year in which they were requested, cards must be renewed annually.

Rules and safety
State Farm Park is a benefit offered to employees & retirees of State Farm, their spouse and dependents(age 24 and under).
State Farm Park provides an enjoyable outdoor environment for activities and amenities. All Park patrons are expected to adhere to Park policies and to act in a manner that is respectful, polite and adheres to all applicable rules and regulations. State Farm Park card holders are responsible for the behaviors of their guests, ensuring their Park guests are aware of and abide by the policies that govern Park use and activity and must be with guests at all times. Individuals who violate Park policies or who are under investigation for violating a Park policy are subject to a temporary or permanent Park restriction. State Farm Loss Prevention/Enterprise Security reserves the right to restrict Park access to both members and non-members at any time.
- All patrons must stop at the Gatehouse to be properly checked in.
- Employees, employee spouses and dependents must provide valid credentials for admittance to the park. Employees require a valid badge for admittance and employee spouses and dependents require a valid park card.
- Spouses, dependents and guests age 16 and over must also provide an original physical valid government or school photo ID (issued by the school) before being admitted to the park.
- Patrons must comply with requests made to them by contract security, Administrative Services staff and lifeguard staff.
- All guests of the park must follow COVID safety protocols and signage that includes: wearing facial coverings, social distancing and frequent hand washing.
- No tobacco, smoking or vaping is allowed on property.
- No alcohol or illegal substances allowed.
- If a minor or adult appears under the influence, authorities and/or guardians may be called for assistance.
- No pets allowed.
- No balloons allowed in the main shelter because of ceiling fans.
- No flying drones.
- No weapons allowed.
- Activities that suggest violence/danger and occur while on State Farm property are strictly prohibited.
- These activities include but are not limited to: Intimidation, making threats, making jokes or offensive comments regarding violent acts, bullying, exhibiting threatening behavior, engaging in a violent act, committing a crime, possessing a firearm or other weapons.
- Children under the age of 14 must have a caregiver of at least 14 years of age with them while they are visiting the Park.
- Persons on the Do Not Admit List are restricted from entering the Park.
- Lockers are available to patrons for securing items of value. State Farm is not responsible for missing or stolen items.
- Ice is NO longer available for purchase at the Shelter.
- Any person under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or exhibiting erratic behaviors will not be permitted in State Farm Park.
- Only one active State Farm Park card will be issued to retirees, retiree's spouses and/or dependents, employee's spouses and/or dependents. No exceptions.
- Guest and park policies are subject to change.
Dress code
- Proper swim attire is required for any individuals swimming in order to keep you and those around you safe.
- Wearing non- swimwear can lead to lead to unhealthy chemical composition of pools.
- Non-swimwear can decrease water clarity, impacting lifeguards ability to monitor water safety.
- Clothing prohibited in water includes but is not limited to the following:
- Street clothes
- Sport bras
- Leotards, Leggings
- Dri-fit wear, undergarments, compression clothing
- Violators of this policy will be asked to change their attire or leave the Park at the discretion of Loss Prevention.
- Swim diapers/pants - Infants/toddlers who require swim diapers or pants will have access to the toddler pool area only.
Closings
The contamination response plan has been revised by the Illinois Department of Public Health and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to address incidents where contamination is identified in the water and to address water clarity. Certain contaminates may result in a 30 minute closure of the pool. Water clarity and other contaminates may result in a pool closure for approximately 12-16 hours. An announcement will be made to all on-site pool patrons communicating the length of the closure. Additional communications will be available at the State Farm Park Hotline at 309-766-1699.
Delays
Inclement Weather - Severe thunderstorms, tornado watch/warning, and lightning may result in the pool/park closing or evacuation to an emergency shelter. Public announcements will be made to notify pool patrons of inclement weather.
Guest policy
Guests are allowed, based on the State Farm Park Guest Policy. Employees/retirees are responsible for ensuring their Park guests are aware of, and abide by, State Farm Park policies.
Individuals who violate Park policies, or who are under review for potentially violating a Park policy, are subject to a temporary or permanent Park restriction. State Farm Loss Prevention/Enterprise Security reserves the right to restrict Park access to both members and non-members at any time.
A State Farm Park card holder would be the following individuals with a valid/active SF Park card: dependents, spouse, retirees, agents/agent staff and internal State Farm employees. For internal SF employees their physical badge is their park card.

- After 4:00 pm – 2 guests per card holder
- Single card holder may bring 1 guest before 4 p.m. on Saturday’s & Holidays or 2 guests after 4 pm.
For State Farm Park purposes a single card holder is a State Farm employee or retiree who is not married and has no legal dependents.

Recreational Reservations
Employees are able to reserve one shelter per State Farm Park Shelter season. Seasons outlined below:
- Winter/Spring (Jan-April)
- Summer (May-September)
- Fall (October-December)
Reservations intended for employee’s personal use must be made through Event Management Systems (EMS).
Please note: Reservations can be made through EMS, but are not booked until you receive a confirmation email from Administrative Services.
Guest reservations
- State Farm Employees and retirees may now request State Farm Park for up to 25 individuals.
- A State Farm Park shelter reservation, confirmed by Ad Services, is required for guest reservation eligibility.
- Once your shelter reservation has been confirmed Ad. Services will work with you directly for your guest reservation.
Disclaimer: Shelter Reservations are allotted on a first-come, first-serve basis. If your first and second shelter preferences are not available at the requested date/time, the Ad Services Coordinators will contact you to determine how to accommodate your request.
Once you receive email confirmation of your request, follow the instructions on how to request Guest Access. You will need to print and bring your shelter confirmation email to the Park on the date of your event to access the shelter.

You must be an active employee of State Farm with an active park card or a retiree with an active park card to make a reservation.

Guest responsibilities
- All employees or retirees making a reservation, must observe the following guidelines and requirements:
- The employee or retiree responsible for the reservations must leave the shelter area in a clean and orderly condition.
- Trash must be properly disposed of in provided trash bins.
- Any and all damages to State Farm Park property, while being used by the employee or retiree, will be the responsibility of the employee or retiree and can include the costs of all labor, materials, and supplies to repair the damage or replace damaged materials.
Rules of use
- Reservations can be made for up to a maximum of 5 hours.
- Shelters are available for reservations while park is open (8am-10 pm).
- Alcoholic beverages are NOT ALLOWED on park property
- Fires are only allowed in permanent grills provided in the pavilion area.
- No outside grills, turkey fryers or cookers are allowed.
- Pets are not allowed on park property.
- Motorized vehicles are not allowed on park property, other than designated roadways and parking lots.
- Vehicles are not allowed to be parked on the grass or driven on the grass to unload equipment.
- All decorations must be cleaned up after the reservation. No stapling or taping of decorations or table cloths.
- No Inflatable games/toys allowed.
- Electrical service is limited in shelters. State Farm Park is not responsible for providing additional electrical service.
- Catering delivery or food delivery is not allowed inside the park. Outside food can be brought in by the employee or retiree.
- State Farm Park Guest Policy must be followed with shelter reservations.
- If badge access is required to gain access to the park for a work function conducted during work hours, please use the Physical Access Form to request badge access to the park. A business case is required.
- Additional tables, equipment or games will not be provided by State Farm Park. Requests for special set ups are not accepted.
