Individual Health Insurance 2023 Open Enrollment

The 2023 Open Enrollment period for individual major medical health insurance begins on November 1, 2022, and runs through January 15, 2023¹ for coverage dates starting on January 1, 2023 or later. Insurers are required to provide guarantee issue coverage for individual major medical health plans, meaning they are not able to underwrite, deny coverage, or attach riders to policies for consumers with pre-existing conditions.

Through a marketing alliance with Blue Cross Blue Shield,² select State Farm® agents can help estimate if you may be eligible for a government subsidy and help sign you up for a 2023 individual major medical health policy.

For the 2023 Open Enrollment period, individual major medical insurance is available in the following states³ through an authorized State Farm agent's office: ID, IL, MT, NM, OK, OR, SC, TX, UT, and WA.
